Internship at NIMS, Japan

This month I’ve started a 3-month internship at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in Tsukuba, Japan 🇯🇵.

Over the coming months, I’ll be getting hands-on experience with their state-of-the-art TEM facilities. This is an amazing opportunity to dive deeper into microscopy and pick up skills I wouldn’t get anywhere else, pushing my research further in the final year of my PhD.

I’m grateful for the support from the University of Bristol and the Bristol Composites Institute in making this possible, and I’m excited to see where this experience takes me!
