Completing My Internship at NIMS, Japan

Today I officially submitted my report, marking the end of my 3-month internship at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in Tsukuba, Japan.

It was an amazing experience, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to be hosted there. Professor Naoto Shirahata and the nanoparticle group welcomed me with open arms and made my time in Japan not only productive, but genuinely memorable.

This internship provided valuable hands-on research experience and helped strengthen international collaborations, which will directly inform the next stage of my PhD work.

I am very much looking forward to returning in the future. For now, my focus is on completing my PhD at the University of Bristol and turning this work into a publication.
