Gold LEAF Certification for Our Lab

I’m proud to share that the lab I manage has achieved Gold LEAF Certification for our commitment to improving sustainability in research. Over the past few months, I led this initiative, working closely with the team to adopt greener lab practices—from reducing energy usage and single-use plastics to improving recycling and resource efficiency.

This milestone reflects a real team effort, and I’m incredibly grateful to have worked alongside such dedicated colleagues: Michaela Whitehurst, Yutong Shen, and Krystof Chrappova. Their enthusiasm and support made this possible.

We’ll continue striving for even greater sustainability in our lab and hope to inspire others to do the same.
